by BD Banks

Luxury travel show Luxperience has reported “overwhelmingly positive feedback” for its 2024 event which wrapped up on Friday with a cocktail event to thank industry partners and advisors for their support.

“Luxperience’s ability to draw high-quality buyers and suppliers underscores its role as a vital and meaningful connection point within the luxury travel industry,” Event Director Lynn Ormiston said.

“Our goal is to deliver an exceptional event for our clients and when looking ahead to 2025, we will review all the commentary from our partners and deliver on strategic initiatives that will continue to build the reputation of Luxperience as the key event in Australia and Oceania for launching new products and showcasing the unique and boutique offerings in travel.”

Stricter criteria for buyer attendance also elevated the quality of delegates, according to organisers. “Of the 300 expressions of interest received, 190 high-calibre travel advisors were selected, with 65% attending Luxperience for the first time,” they said.

Productive mutual matches for appointments were another highlight with 50% of meetings mutually requested by both parties. With 15 minute one-on-one appointments and a five minute changeover between each one, the emphasis was on delivering a “calm and serene” environment to enable constructive conversations.
